Manufactured from material derived from starch, this urn will bio degrade at a rate similar to that of pure cellulose.
Living micro-organisms transform the urn into water, carbon dioxide and/or methane.
The urn is compost able and is certified by international federation institutes (iso, cen and astm) on the basis of complete mineralisation and disintegration in a composting environment with no negative effects on plants and aquatic organisms.
Degration time is approx. 4 months depending on conditions tested. Ideal for woodland burials as trees shrubs and plants can be planted at the same time.
